Thermoformed foam core has been used for decades in aerospace and on custom projects by pioneering composite boatbuilders to reduce weight and improve hull properties by eliminating the slits in crosscut foam, which fill with resin.
Bespline industrialized the thermoforming process using adaptive mold technology and CNC-guided marking and trimming, making the benefits of increased impact resistance and durability accessible for series built production boats, while reducing labor, wasted material and cost.
Our kit solutions are suitable for all types of composite boats above 30 feet. Great for any curved sections in your hull, cabin or flybridge, our current adaptive molds can achieve a radius down to 250mm (10”).
To get your splineCore kit mapping, we simply require a CAD of your shape and will advise you for the next steps.
“As bespline promised, the core kit arrived on-time, on-budget and fit the mold perfectly”
